What you resist persists

By Carl Gustav Jung : Swiss psychiatrist, student of Freud & founder analytic psychology - (1875 - 1961)

This quote is interesting, some claim it relates to the 'law of attraction' that if you think of something a lot you will get it, some relate it to quantum physics, others say that Jung's quote is being miss interpreted.

Total misappropriation of Jung's words. Jung was referring to the powerful subconscious, our own human need for emotions and deriving meaning. He wasn't referring to the cosmology of the world. What he meant was that the subconscious cannot simply be vanquished like a dragon or an army. His words had nothing to do with this new age nonsense.

A trivial Analogy of what jung ment would be the case of a young girl who's parents did not want her with a certain boy, the more the parents try to part them the stronger their bond gets...
